Feed moderation is one of TidyTweet's most popular features. To moderate your feed, log in to your TidyTweet account and follow these steps:
-
View Your Feed's Moderation Dashboard
Click the "Moderate Feed" button next to your feed from your Feed Management Dashboard to view the Moderation Dashboard.
-
Review the Selected Status Tabs
In the top right corner of your Moderation Dashboard, you'll see four tabs that describe the approval status for the Tweets that are
displayed.
-
All - This tab shows all Tweets that are available in your feed. Tweets are not filtered by approval status.
This view is helpful if you suspect that your feed filters are too restrictive and some of the Tweets you'd like to display are being rejected
in error.
-
Approved - This tab shows all Tweets that have been marked as approved. Tweets appear on this tab when they are automatically
approved based on your feed settings or manually approved by one of your feed administrators. This view is helpful if you find a Tweet
that has made it through your filters that you'd like to reject manually.
-
Pending - This tab shows all Tweets that are pending approval. Tweets appear on this tab when they make it through your
feed filters but haven't been rejected. This view is helpful if you have your feed set to "Pending" moderation status.
-
Rejected - This tab shows all Tweets that have been rejected. Tweets appear on this tab when they are blocked by your feed
filters or have been manually rejected from the Moderation Dashboard. This view is helpful when you've rejected a Tweet in error or you believe
one of the Tweets has been incorrectly marked as spam.
-
Select Your Moderation Tab
The majority of customers perform their moderation directly from the "All" tab page. This allows them access to Tweets that are pending approval,
and it gives the ability to see which Tweets have either made it through their filters or have been blocked.
-
Approve or Reject Tweets
Each Tweet in your Moderation Dashboard listing includes both "Approve Tweet" and "Reject Tweet" buttons. Clicking either of these buttons
will either set the status of a "Pending" Tweet or change the status of a previously approved or rejected Tweet. After clicking either of these buttons,
the status icon next to the Tweet will change to reflect your choice.
