Integration

To begin integrating your feed, log in to your TidyTweet account, and navigate to the Feed Management Dashboard.

From the Feed Management Dashboard, you can display your feed on the TidyTweet site, integrate it with your website, or visualize your data using one of our 3rd party services.

1. Public Feed

   Your Public Feed is a live-updating list of your approved feed Tweets. You can use this display on screens or monitors around your event, or you can direct your customers to this feed to stay up-to-date on the latest happenings for your feed.

   To access this display of your feed, click the "Public Feed" link next to your feed on the Feed Management Dashboard.

2. RSS Feed

   Your RSS Feed is an ATOM-formatted listing of your feed's approved Tweets. You can use this display if you want to build your own version of the Public Feed page or to have complete control over how your Tweets are viewed.

   To access this display of your feed, click the "RSS" link next to your feed on the Feed Management Dashboard.

3. Embed Widget

   Your Embed Widget is a set of HTML code that you can embed in your website to display a listing of your feed's approved Tweets. You can use this display if you want to embed your feed directly into your website or blog.

   To access this display of your feed, click the "Embed Widget" link next to your feed on the Feed Management Dashboard. This will open a dialog allowing you the options to display or hide author icons from Tweets displayed in your widget.

   Once you've selected your Embed Widget display style, copy the HTML code from the dialog and place it where you'd like the Embed Widget to appear on your website.

4. Visible Tweets

   Perhaps the most commonly used integration method, Visible Tweets provides an animated display of the filtered Tweets from your feed. Visible Tweets is provided by The Man in Blue.

   To access this display of your feed, click the "Visible Tweets" link next to your feed on the Feed Management Dashboard. This will open a window displaying your Tweets using one of three animations provided by Visible Tweets.

5. WordPress

   We provide a WordPress plugin to display your approved Tweets directly in your WordPress-enabled blog.

   To access this display of your feed, click the "WordPress" link next to your feed on the Feed Management Dashboard. This will take you to the installation page for the TidyTweet plugin. If you need help installing this plugin, WordPress provides a Managing Plugins tutorial that can help.

6. Microsoft PowerPoint

   Timo Elliot, one of our TidyTweet customers, has created FREE PowerPoint Twitter Tools, a plugin to display your approved Tweets directly in a PowerPoint document.

   To access these tools, visit Timo's FREE PowerPoint Twitter Tools download page and download one of the template PowerPoint presentations that he has available.

   Once downloaded, you can integrate your TidyTweet feed by copying the URL of your feed's RSS Feed into the PowerPoint Twitter Tools wizard, as described on Timo's site.
